What Punchline is

Punchline is a web application that connects to your Brevo account, analyzes your email campaign performance, and generates email drafts for you to review, edit, and send. By using Punchline, you agree to these terms.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must have the right to use the Brevo API key you connect to Punchline — it should be your own account or one you're authorized to manage.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Punchline to:

• Send spam or unsolicited bulk email.
• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Violate any applicable laws, including anti-spam legislation (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
• Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the service.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the service beyond its intended use.

Generated content

Punchline uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) to generate email drafts and analysis insights. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before sending it. We do our best to produce high-quality, on-brand emails, but you should always check the final result. Generated content belongs to you — you can use it however you like.

Email deliverability

Punchline helps you create emails, but actual delivery happens through Brevo. We are not responsible for whether your emails land in inboxes, get filtered as spam, or bounce. Email deliverability depends on many factors outside our control, including your sender reputation, list quality, and email content.

Service availability

Punchline is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do our best to keep the service running and reliable, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. We may occasionally need to take the service offline for maintenance or updates. We are not liable for any losses caused by service interruptions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Punchline and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (if applicable).

Account termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in activity that harms other users or the platform. You can delete your account at any time through the in-app chat or by emailing hi@punchline.email.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Punchline after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
